Walther Strong Cladtape for Batten Protection 20m

20m rolls (1mm thick). Cladtape is available in a 50mm wide roll that spans 20 meters.

Cladtape is used to protect timber battens used when installing weatherboard Click and Lap cladding.

For Cedral Click Cladtape should be used on ALL battens. For Cedral Lap, HardiePlank, Cembrit Plan and other standard lapped fibre cement cladding you only need to apply Cladtape to battens where boards are butt jointed.  It is also recommended to protect timber supports around doors and windows with Cladtape.

Recommended batten widths:

• 50mm x 38mm for Lap system on standard fixing
