Sixteen colours. One board profile. A timber grain you can feel under your hand, on a plank that will never need stripping back and repainting.
Cedral Click Woodgrain is the one most of our DIY customers end up choosing. It has the character of painted timber boarding, the sort you see on coastal houses and converted barns, but it is fibre cement underneath. That means no rot, no warping, nothing eating it from the inside.
New shades landing soon: C10 Sky Blue and C77 Pebble Grey arrive mid-January. C76 Tea Green follows in February. Ring ahead if you want some set aside.
Three New Colours Worth Waiting For
The woodgrain palette has mostly sat in the greys, whites and browns, which suits a lot of British housing stock. The new additions open it up.
Sky Blue brings a softer, coastal feel that works well on garden rooms and summerhouses. Pebble Grey sits between the existing light and mid greys, filling a gap people have been asking about. Tea Green is the quiet one, a muted sage that looks particularly good against brick and stone.
All three join the standard stocked range once they land, with the same pricing and the same board spec as everything else.

How the Click System Works
Each plank has a tongue along one edge and a groove along the other. The groove of the next board drops over the tongue of the one below and clicks into place. Fix through the top flange, move on to the next.
That is it. No spacers to fiddle with, no measuring the gap every third board, no slow drift out of level that you only spot when you are two metres up the wall.
Boards run horizontally or vertically, so the same product covers a traditional lapped look and a more upright, modern treatment. Plenty of people mix the two on a single property, with vertical boards on a gable or porch and horizontal across the main elevation.

Timber cladding looks lovely for the first two summers. After that it is ladders, sanding blocks and a weekend of staining every couple of years, forever. Fibre cement skips all of it. Wash it down occasionally, and that is the maintenance done.
For a garden room or an extension you plan to keep, that difference adds up fast.

Anything outside this list, including smooth finish boards, can be brought in to order. Those come as full pallets of 144 boards only, so they suit larger jobs rather than a single wall.

If your count lands just under a band, it is worth checking the maths. Nudging the order up a few boards sometimes brings the whole total down, and offcuts have a habit of being useful.

Delivery Information
Our own lorries cover the South East, the Home Counties and the Midlands. Orders into that area arrive within 3 to 5 days, unloaded by our own drivers who know what they are handling.
Further afield on the UK mainland, we use an external haulier, with a 100-board maximum per order depending on size and offload access. Same 3 to 5 day window.

Ask how many boards for a 40 square metre elevation and someone will work it out with you. Ask whether Slate Grey will look too dark on a north-facing wall and you will get an honest opinion rather than a sales line. Cedral Click Woodgrain FAQs
What is the coverage per board?
Each board is 3.6m long with a 186mm width. Work out your wall area, add a margin for cuts around doors and windows, and send the figures over if you want us to check them.
When exactly do the new colours arrive?
Sky Blue and Pebble Grey are due mid-January. Tea Green is expected in February. Dates can shift slightly, so give us a call closer to the time if you are planning around them.
Is the woodgrain texture printed on?
No. The grain is embossed into the board itself, so it has real depth and feel rather than being a surface print.
Can I fit it on my own?
Yes, and most of our customers do. The click joint takes the difficulty out of alignment. You will want a second pair of hands for the longer boards simply because of the length, not the weight.
What blade should I use?
A diamond-tipped blade made for fibre cement. A standard TCT blade will blunt within a wall or two and makes a lot more dust. Cut outdoors and wear a proper mask.
Does it need a cavity behind it?
Yes. Fibre cement cladding goes onto battens with a ventilated cavity and breather membrane behind. The installation guides on our downloads page cover the build-up.
Can I mix two colours on one house?
Plenty of people do. A darker shade on the ground floor with something lighter above is a common choice, as is picking out a porch or gable in a contrasting colour.
How do I order a colour that is not stocked?
Non-standard colours and smooth boards come in full pallets of 144. Send us the code and we will confirm the price and lead time.
What if I run short mid-project?
Call us. Stock levels on the standard woodgrain colours are deep, so a top-up order is usually with you within the same 3 to 5 day window.
