Description
EPDM Tape for Batten Protection 25m
25m rolls (0.75mm thick). EPDM is available in 4 different widths, 60mm, 80mm, 100mm and 120mm depending on batten width being used
EDPM tape should be used to protect timber battens used when installing Fibre Cement or HPL cladding.
For Cedral Click EPDM should be used on ALL battens. For Cedral Lap, HardiePlank, Cembrit Plan and other standard lapped fibre cement cladding you only need to apply EPDM to battens where boards are butt jointed. It is also recommended to protect timber supports around doors and windows .
Recommended batten widths:
- 50mm x 38mm for Lap system on standard fixing
- 75mm x 38mm for Lap joints and corners
- 75mm x 38mm for Click system on standard fixing
- 100mm x 38mm for Click system on joints and corners
